AwenTheAlchemist (Blandford Forum)

Seeking a gaming group

I've been playing DnD for around 5 years now. Mainly as a player but open to doing another DM role. Mostly familiar with 2014 edition and if definitely consider myself to still be learning the game. I'm looking for a relaxed but invested campaign to be a part of with people who are enthusiastic and patient. I'm 20 so looking to play with people around my age but not necessary :)

I'm just one of those annoying theatre kids haha! Looking for a fun, chill group to play D&D 5e with. 2014 rules preferred, but I'm down to play 2024.

Aaron (Weymouth)

Seeking a gaming group

EDIT - PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK INBOX AS I'VE HAD SOME RESPONSES FROM THE SITE THAT HAVE NOT REPLIED TO MY EMAILS :) Hi, I'm Aaron. Played and DM'ed a fair amount of 5th edition and variations - looking to start a new 5.5/2024 DnD campaign in early 2026 and want to meet players of similar-ish age (I'm 42) ideally in Weymouth. I'd like to try and meet up this year so we can see if we're a good fit and discuss what we want in the game - currently have plans in place for a couple of short adventures which can expand into a wider ongoing campaign. I generally prefer campaigns to 'adventure of the week' style play. Also happy to play if you feel I'd be a good fit. Please feel free to message me if you're interested. Thanks :)

David (Poole)

Seeking a book club

Hello, my name is David and I'm 23 years old. I am trying to get back into reading, and I'm hoping that joining a book club will give me the motivation to finish more books. I'm open to reading any genre, so I'd love to hear any recommendations. The most recent novel I read was 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy, which I loved. I also like short stories. One that I read and enjoyed recently was 'Sweat' by Zora Neale Hurston.

Jonty (Christchurch)

Seeking a book club

I spend so much time with my head in text books for my job and have lost the love of reading. I want to join a group of people who have the enthusiasm for a good book and a good conversation to revitalize this part of myself again.

Book Club (Dorchester)

Seeking a book club

Looking to Join or Start a Social Book Club in Dorchester Hi everyone! I'm looking to join a friendly, social book club in Dorchester. I enjoy reading a wide range of genres—fiction, non-fiction, thrillers, fantasy, contemporary, and more—but I tend to avoid historical fiction and intense horror. Ideally, I'd love to meet every 2 weeks, perhaps on a Sunday afternoon at a cosy coffee shop in town. I'm also very open to making new friends and chatting about books, life, and everything in between. If you're part of a group like this or would be interested in starting one together, please do get in touch!

Ben (Weymouth)

Seeking a gaming group

I'm Ben, 26 years old, looking for a gaming group to play D&D with on a regular basis. I've played on and off for about 2 years as both a player and a DM but would very much consider myself a beginner. Looking for a chilled group of people with a good combination of serious roleplay and goofing around.

Rose (Dorchester)

Seeking a book club

Hello. I’m Rose, based just outside of Dorchester. I’m 35 and am looking to join or create a book club in the hopes to meet like minded people, and enjoy a chat about books! I like fiction and non-fiction. I love books with in depth character descriptions and character evolution, I like books that have artistic details and nature based books too. I’m not a big fan of romance, thriller or fantasy.

Lisa (Christchurch)

Seeking a book club

Hi, I'm Lisa! I am a dual citizen (Canadian/English) who came to England in 2010 when I fell in love with my British boyfriend (and I fell in love with the UK!) I'm an avid reader and would say I read most genres but I'm not big into fantasy/sci fi. My favourite genres are thrillers, horror, romance (contemporary, historical and everything in between), Japanese literature (especially if it's about cats), general fiction and classics. I love reading, cats, Taylor Swift and cosy hobbies. I've been part of an online book club for 8 years or so but would love to meet someone nearby who shares similar interests to me. :) It would be nice to find a few people in the local area and maybe do an online book club (on messenger, facebook or discord) and if it feels like a good fit, think about meeting in person. I'm in my late 30's, looking to talk to other women who are bookworms like me!

Perfect British fiction read. I don't want to go on a walking journey but I do want to read about people doing it! Loved the banter and the pure comfort of the whole story!
