Seeking a book club

I moved to the area 6 months ago and have thought about joining a book club for a while. Im no literary nerd, but do love getting lost in 'can't put the book down' zone! It would also be great to meet some like minds. I enjoy a range of genres (except si-fi and pass on anything horror/violence related) just arrived today H is for Hawk. When I'm not working, I enjoy long walks with the dog, yoga, rowing, dancing and eating good food and 🍷 I hope by joining a book club it would also motivate me to read more and introduce me to new authors.

Seeking a gaming group

I've played in a few campaigns, sadly none reaching the end and tried (very poorly i might add) at DMing, mostly 5e but have been listening to a pathfinder podcast for a long time and would be up for giving it a go.

Seeking a book club

I have recently moved from London to Blackford Somerset (on the border with Dorset.) My nearest town is Sherborne. I'd be keen to join a book club and meet some local people. I'm primarily interested in Literary fiction. My favourite authors include Margaret Atwood, Hubert Selby, Donna Tart and Sylvia Plath. Anyone interested in meeting?

Seeking a book club

Hello! I'm moving from SE London to the Somerset/Dorser border (near Sherborne) and would love to join or start a book club and meet some local friendly faces. My taste in books is quite eclectic, but I'm more drawn to literary fiction. Books by Iris Murdoch, John Steinbeck, Margaret Atwood and Elena Ferrante are up there in my top twenty! I also love a bit of science fiction and fantasy but I'm keen to widen my reading list and have friendly discussions about books of all kinds, preferably over a glass of wine.

Seeking a book club

I love getting lost in a good book and the escapism of reading. I particularly enjoy psychological thrillers and crime but happy to give most things a go. I’ve lived in beautiful Dorset for 4 years - we moved just before lockdown so I’d love to meet more like-minded people locally. When I’m not working I enjoy walking my dog, yoga, dancing, gardening and drinking wine😋. I’m interested in joining a book club in Sherborne - hopefully to meet once a month.

I am totally new to Dorset and know no one! I love books so when I’m not with my children I read when I can. I’m looking to make friends and be the true book geek I am at heart!

I think it’s unlike anything I’ve ever read before. I’m a gamer or at least I was when I was younger so I absolutely loved all the detail about the industry. And it was so beautiful!
