Newbie. I like listening to critical role and have recently started playing Dnd. I really enjoy fast paced, immersive scenarios. A good balance between role play and battles and puzzles to solve. And prefer a group that's no more than 6 people. English as a second language and part of the lgbtq community. 34F (identify as genderfluid but use she/her pronouns)

Been DM-ing 5e since 2017 and Draw Steel since it came out! Looking for a side game ideally as a player after work. I tend to play fairly fun casual games where run comes ahead of rules, but I'm just happy to roll some dice!

WeirdGoblinBoy (Peterborough)

Seeking a gaming group

Hello! I used to play DND a lot back in 2020-2022 but I took a hiatus and I want to get back into it. Preferably I would love to play Curse of Strahd or Vecna: Eve of Ruin but I don't mind playing anything else. If anyone was interested I would love to play a tabletop version of Baldur's Gate 3 but the custom characters and their backstories are more plot relevant, and make our own paths in the story of BG3. Because I haven't played in years I might need help with making any character sheets and help remembering the rules. I'm am LGBTQIA+ and 23 years old. Due to me not having my own vehicle I cannot attend sessions outside of the city. Preferably I would like to have the games be hosted in public spaces like games shops (but not a deal breaker). I would prefer to do the campaign in real life but I'm happy to do online too. Before we start I would love to meet the group first and to get to know everyone- this will allow everyone to meet me and for me to meet everyone so we're more familiar with eachother before game time. Because of the intense heat that we are currently experiencing I would like to suggest starting the campaign when it gets a little cooler (unless we go somewhere that has great air conditioning). Thank you so much for reading and I hope you consider me as a potential player.

Richard (Cambridge)

Gaming group

We have a group of four preparing to start a campaign, and are looking for one or two more to join us. We are based around Cambridge and Huntingdon, and planning to meet fortnightly (or there abouts), probably on Friday evenings (although can be flexible). Emphasis is on having fun socially and trying to develop a good adventure narrative. Please reach out if you fancy joining.

Jamie (Huntingdon)

Seeking a gaming group

I'm a new DM (22 F) looking for a group of players to join a 5e Curse of Strahd campaign in Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire area. I currently reside between both of the counties so around the St Neots/Huntingdon area and Bedford area would be best. I have only been in one campaign for two years as a player so this will be my first campaign as a DM. Therefore, I accept any newcomers to DnD as well as experienced players. Share your email if you're interested!

Seeking a book club

I enjoy history books, historic fiction, fantasy and sci-fi. But don't mind a good thriller, currently reading Marc Morris' The Norman Conquests. Looking to get into a book club near or around Huntingdon, feel free to contact me.

Nick (Cambridge)

Seeking a book club

Hi, I’m Nick. The genre I’m most drawn to at the moment is Western fiction. Cormac McCarthy is a particular favourite, though I’ve read many of the classic authors in the genre. Over the years I’ve gone through phases with fantasy and science fiction as well, and I’m always happy to venture into something different if it comes highly recommended. Some of my favourite discoveries through other readers’ suggestions have been A Month in the Country and The Sombrero Fallout—books I might never have picked up on my own, but ended up loving. I’m married with two children, so like many people at this stage of life, I’ve found that family life leaves a bit less time and opportunity to meet new people. I’d love to connect with others who share a genuine enthusiasm for books and enjoy swapping recommendations and talking about what they’re reading.

Nick recommends:

Philip (Huntingdon)

Seeking a gaming group

40M, friendly, chatty, and a bit daft. Have worn my fair share of silly costumes and do a very respectable gollum voice. Played many tabletop board games and computer based RPGs, but I've only ever dabbled in tabletop RPGs. I've always been curious, but never found a group or a DM. Dad to two children (ages 9 and 10) who are with me half the time - I could play Monday/Tuesday evenings or alternate Fri/Sat/Sun when they're with their mum. I'd be happy to host from time to time, I live in a village 5 minutes outside Huntingdon.
