This book speaks to me in a lot of ways like no others do, its a gritty fantasy of a dwarf seeking death and the man that promised to record it. The main character felix has to struggle his way through every encounter and always has me on the edge of my seat. Amazing book.

This series really kickstarted my reading journey this year and unashamedly has a chokehold on me! The dragons, character dynamics and cliffhangers have left me wanting more. Yes this book is not for everyone but I will recommend it, along with ACOTAR for those who want to explore Romantasy books for the first time or long standing fantasy fans.
