I’m looking to join a book group to connect with like-minded people, share thoughts on what we’re reading, and discover new authors I might not have picked up otherwise. I enjoy both fiction and memoir—especially stories with emotional depth or strong female leads—and I love a book that sparks a proper conversation. I am now working part time and have time to read and would like to meet new people and spend more time reading. My favourite authors are Ian McEwan, Jonathan Coe, David Lodge, and William Boyd.
