I like contemporary literature (but not too highbrow). Would love to find a small book group that meets in central Alcester in the daytime.

Seeking a book club
I used to belong to a book club before Covid, meeting every 4 weeks but we never really got it going again. I retired last year and started thinking about joining another one recently. I love reading as do my 2 daughters so we often discuss and swap books. Belonging to a club made me read books I would never have considered and different genres . I am so pleased I did read them , as enjoyed them immensely but would never have chosen them myself. I like all sorts of genres but not too keen on sci-fi. I live in Redditch and did see something about meeting in a cafe in the town centre. I do not live far from Alcester so happy to go there if that is the nearest. I would be happy with monthly or less frequent meetings . Thank you Julie

Hey, I love D&D, started at Uni and have played sporadically over the years since. Looking to join a new group, playing D&D or similar - most importantly I’m looking to make friends and be part of a team.

1XGAmy Carter and 105 others Greetings to all you book lovers out there! I'm creating a community where we can all meet once a month to chat about fantasy or science fiction novels. Later on I'd like for us to host book events or have mutual accountability while purchasing books. In addition, I'll be hosting monthly events like our upcoming discussion on The Art of Prophecy by Wesley Chu. We can read other books while we're there, and then decide which books to read at the next meeting. We'll also be having a book swap and I'm open to having the meetings at other locations. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a message! We currently have 106 members, and hopefully that number will continue to grow!
