Seeking a book club

I have worked in children's social care for 37 years so like to read books that sate my imagination away from the everyday and out of my comfort zone. Ive just moved to Tunbridge Wells so would love to join a book group to share views of books, have regular monthly meet ups and make friends. Anybody interested?

I think book lovers are usually good conversationalists, and as I'm a bit of an introverted gran, am looking to join a book club. My books for a desert island would be Howl's Moving Castle, Pride and Prejudice and How to Survive on a Desert Island.

I’m a retired nurse and finally have time to pursue things I wish to. Finding a good book club would tick lots of boxes for me; discipline me to read and then chat about the books afterwards with like minded people

I live in Culverden Park and belong to a U3A book club. However, when I was in TW library collecting my next book I noticed there were some books set aside for “Culverden Park Ladies” and so I’m very keen to join this group if possible.

Hi, I’ve lived in Tunbridge Wells, still feel new. I would like to know whether there is an in-person book club in Tunbridge Wells. I’m looking to join as I’m now working part time, have more time to socialise and meet new people.

Seeking a book club

I will be looking after my baby granddaughter in Tunbridge Wells for three days a week January-May and would like to meet people while I am there rather than just sitting around doing nothing in the evenings. I am a member of a lively book group in Richmond, where I live for the rest of the week, and would like to find something similar in TW.
