I’ve lived in Southport most of my life and started reading a lot more in the past 10 years. I’m a designer and have 2 amazing kids. I love epic fantasy, fantasy and sci-fi novels, particularly works by a Brandon Sanderson.

I’m quite open with what I read but I do enjoy gothic mysteries/ thrillers but again, I’ll read pretty much anything. Wanting to just find bookish people to get giddy over books with!

Moved to Southport about 2 and a half years ago. I haven't really got a friend's group. I have twin boys and four chickens instead. I would like to take the opportunity to meet people with similar interests. As I am not a big pub goer. I like most genre's particularly dystopia's, alternate histories, cy-punk, science fiction, steam punk. Also classics, satire and theatre scripts (I used to work in that field) am a published author on academic bob-fiction work. I also read a lot of history and environmental stuff.

We are a Southport-based tabletop gaming, card game and board game group based at the Southport Community Centre, Norwood Road, PR8 6HQ. Our community is very active, meeting every Monday for our Monday Night Gaming (7pm - Late) as well as community run pre-releases for Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer 40,000 tournaments and much more.
