Sockbridge Reading Group
Book club
Meets at Queens Head on Run by Judith Morris Library service We meet on the first Monday of the month at 8pm in our local pub, The Queens Head at Tirril near Penrith. We borrow the books from the local library as a Group - so no need to buy any books. There are about 12 of us and it is very informal - we jointly select the books in advance for the coming 12 months. We meet for about an hour and discuss what we have read the previous month - no-one is expected to make a presentation or lead the discussion - it just evolves. We meet at: Tirril, Penrith, Cumbria, CA10 2JF Accepting new members
