I read all sorts - crime, autobiography, chic lit, classics, fiction, historical fiction… I’m 58, living in Paignton with my husband & dog, looking to meet other women, have a laugh & discuss stuff :)

A really gripping page turner; highly plausible - it takes you to a past time; great characters; nice ending… I hope it gets made into a TV series!

Love, love, love books and the worlds they open up for you. I enjoy everything from Non-fiction to fantasy but do like to indulge in a light hearted murder series from time to time. I am new to Torbay and would love to meet and engage with like minded peeps. I am just in my 50s - but also not a day over 21 :-)

Love reading. Have a stack by my bed, audio CD! in car and generally one in my bag, just in case i have time when i really have nothing to do! Not very often. I love trying out new books, to broaden my horizons. I'm looking for a Book group in Paignton - in person, face to face.. Anyone out there??

Tor

Seeking a book club

I find myself in Devon for a month or two and looking to join a book club of sorts, mainly as a way to meet other people and chat about books, life, etc. I'm not very familiar with the area and not yet found any groups or regular meet ups for strangers like me! Get in touch if you can point me in the right direction : )

Mandy

Seeking a book club

I am a local single lady who still works part-time. I have enjoyed two book groups over many years but unfortunately they no longer meet. I like both fact and fiction books so I'm frequently at the library or visiting charity shops or trying to understand some of the articles in The New Scientist magazines. I love interesting facts and discussing these. I'd also really like to hear and learn from other readers' experiences.
