I enjoy a variety of genres mostly contemporary literature including murder mysteries, romance, pop fiction with a preference towards female authors. Am keen discover different genres to what I have previously exposed myself to.

Hey, I'm looking to get into reading more regularly with others around my age (22). I normally prefer slow-burn character studies & sci-fi, but I'm open minded. Happy to commute anywhere within Oxford.

Elliott

Seeking a book club

I love reading a read a lot, all genres fiction and non fiction, but have never really discussed books in earnest. I would very much like to join or start a book club, meeting monthly on a weekday evening somewhere in or around Oxford (I'm in Wootton Village just outside Oxford). I would describe my desired group as essentially casual, small and friendly, with a genuine interest and effort at reading and discussing a new book each month.

I have a love of all things weird or speculative (sci fi, body horror, afrofuturism...) and am always curious about books that will open my mind. Shift-worker so I keep strange hours.

Melancholy, full of folklore and imagination. Ultimately a love-letter to female friendships and a lamentation that romantic (straight) relationships often take advantage of women.
