well as my profile name suggests Im a bookaholic and proud! I read everyday I generally use my kindle or an audiobook for convenience but I do love the smell of a new book! If really love a book I have it in all formats (hardback or paperback, Kindle book and Audiobook) I read a variety of genres but mainly Romance in all forms (Dark/Historical/Romcom/Romantasy/Contemporary/RH) None of my friends/family understand my obsession with books I would love to have someone to talk about books with.

Small floating place, so if I keep a book itās extra special. In my teeny cupboard are some books which have stuck to me which Iād love to share. If any strike a chord with you, itās a good place to start: H is for Hawk; The High House; The Martian; No Straight Road Takes You There; The Ministry for the Future; Intervention, Atonement, The Hitch Hikerās Guide to the Galaxy, Shantaram; Helm; The Old Man and The Sea and Danny The Champion of the World (for my kids - who are now grown up; I may be a tad on the sentimental side). Iām aware Iām stuck and I really need some different voices from different people. If you donāt mind sharing, Iād love to listen. Oh; 56 year old man, working from home, Stretford, climbing the walls, doomscrolling. Books are, clearly, the answer - only connect! Full disclosure: I have never been to a book club before. How do you set one up? How do you start talking about a book? Is it awkward? How deep do you go? How long do you stay? Is there wine? Snax? Please, not tea. Wine. Iāll bring someā¦
