My reading interests span politics, military history, and the inner workings of public institutions, with each area equally important. I enjoy books written by people with direct involvement ā politicians, soldiers, journalists, civil servants, and insiders ā especially when they offer honest reflections, behindātheāscenes insight, or analysis of decisionāmaking under real-world constraints. Iām also drawn to investigative accounts of political events, organisational failures, and leadership challenges, alongside military memoirs that focus on lived experience rather than abstract strategy. Overall, I prefer clear, factual, grounded nonāfiction that helps me understand how systems and people operate in demanding environments.
