Book clubs in Launceston

I'm completely biased because this is my mum's book but she's a proven author with a Carnegie medal recommendation to her name so I think that's ok. This book is about how life might be for a group of young people after ecological collapse - it's about human nature, the good and the bad bits, and it's about hope. It's very topical and like with many books, I find myself wondering where all the ideas came from - frighteningly possible!

It's a heartbreaking insight into the Aberfan disaster through the eyes of a young, newly qualified embalmer. Beautifully written - I highly recommend.
