Hi Everyone, I’ve recently moved to the area and am looking to join a book club in or around Honiton with ladies of a similar vintage (in my 50s!). My ideal group reads a genuine mix of genres—from contemporary fiction and good thrillers to memoirs and literary picks, where the chat flows just as easily as the discussion about the book, ideally over a cuppa or a glass of wine. Looking for lovely people who love life, enjoy good company, and don't take things too seriously. My favourite novels are David Copperfield, Tess of the D'urbevilles, Wuthering Heights. Favourite writers are William Boyd, Evelyn Waugh, George Orwell and many others. Happy to try any recommendations.
