we are a small friendly book group. We meet on the 3rd Monday of every month from 11 to 12. We have a theme each month and discuss the books we read over a cuppa from the Cafe Revive. Hello, My name is Maura-Ann Cairns, and I'm a writer. I spend a lot of my time in my own fictional worlds, so I'm looking to join a book club to get out, meet some new people, and explore the worlds other authors have created. Hi there I've been trying to find a book club for ages, not many people that I know like reading books anymore, I like old classics by Orwell, DH Lawrence, and the Brontes, but I also like Sci-Fi fantasy with one of my favourite authors being Terry Brookes, and others such as Jodi Picoult, and Bill Bryson.

I am retired and recently moved to Dalgety Bay .I was previously in a book group and would like to join a daytime group . Crime fiction is my current reading choice for easy reading but would like to be introduced to a wider range of books ,classics or modern literary fiction ,not romance or fantasy, please .
