Blue Shed Girl

Seeking a book club

Would love to connect with fellow readers to discuss & hear different perspectives on book I’ve read & also get suggestions for new books. Currently reading lots of nature-inspired books (I love gardening, hiking, wildlife etc) but enjoy other genres too, especially those with well developed & interesting characters. Would be great to find a local reading group with like-minded people!

Love reading, but have done so too little in recent years! Would love to join a book group to motivate me to read more frequently and get together to enjoy discussions on books we've read.

I gave a particular love of golden age crime novels but enjoy all fiction both contemporary and historical. I would like to discuss books in a group and discover new authors.

Seeking a book club

52 yr old looking to join a local book club (and meet new people). Fell out of the habit of reading for years. Set myself a new year resolution on 01/01/2023 to read one book a month in 2023. Its October and have read 24 books to date. Smashing this resolution and have absolutely fallen back in love with reading :) New goal set of 30 books read by midnight 31/12/2023. Joining a book club should hopefully keep me breaking personal reading goals and also boost my social life. Making friends in your 50s is no joke! Maybe that could be my 2024 goal :)
