Nikki

Seeking a book club

I’ve had my nose in a book since I was about 3 years old. I love fiction, non-fiction, all sorts of genres, so long as the writing is good. Books I’ve loved this year: Our London Lives; Whistler; The Correspondent; Demon Copperhead; Fruit Fly; London Falling; The Spy and the Traitor; Moonlight Express: Around the World by Night Train; The Nord Stream Conspiracy. All time favourites: A Fine Balance; A Suitable Boy. I work full time, unsociable hours, and would love to meet other keen readers and get to know new people in the area.

Seeking a book club

I like most genres but mostly, psychological thrillers, crime and fantasy. I would like to meet like minded people who also enjoy reading, or possible join a book club. 🙂

Seeking a book club

I am recently retired and rekindling my love of reading. I want to explore a variety of genre to expand my reading repertoire , as like most people I suspect, I always seem to gravitate to the same old thing!

Elvington Chatterbooks

Book club

Come join us at Eythorne Elvington Primary School where Elvington Chatterbooks, a library service offered by Kent County Council, holds monthly meetings. At each meeting all genres of books are discussed, with 1 full text and 1 quick read offered for consideration. Some of the books are also available for loan. These meetings are informative and enjoyable, creating a pleasant atmosphere for those interested in reading and those looking for assistance in improving their reading skills. The library service offers accommodation for individuals with difficulty accessing literature, such as providing large print and audio books. If you are an adult with low level literacy, English as a second language, or are visually impaired, come along and spend an hour chatting and enjoying our sessions.
