23M Getting back into reading. I have developed a particular interest for philosophy and psychology among other things. I am interested in learning more about humans and why we do certain things and why we think and behave in a particular manner. I am looking to find people with the same interests and whom I can share thoughts with. I plan on doing a challenge where I will write an essay everyday to help improve my thinking, clarity and the articulation of my thoughts. Anyone interested is welcome.

Hi! Jake and Eleanor here looking to add a regular session to our schedule. We’d love the kind of game we’re everyone shows up one day and week - no scheduling needed! We could also host. My boyfriend and I have been playing a long distance, homebrew heavy DnD game for 2 years. I’ve been playing for 3 total. We’re looking to join a table closer to home. Jake has done some DMing in the past and is open to doing some one shots to build more confidence. We’re big gamers, everything from chess, card games, strategy and video games. We are frequent visitors to Chance Encounters in Digbeth and would happily meet there as an intro session! We’re not originally from Birmingham and are looking for some new ttrpg friends closer to home!

Hi, it's nice to meet you! I'm a tabletop player (21F) with around 8 years of on and off experience and I’ve played D&D 5e 2014/2024 the most. I’ve also played a few smaller systems and would be willing to try something different. I don't usually mind what tone the game takes, I just like to be aware beforehand so I can plan my character around it. I want to make friends and get back into playing tabletop games more regularly so please get in touch! I’m happy to play in Birmingham or Sutton Coldfield :) I would also be interested in learning to DM, but would probably use a pre-written module just to get to grips with it.

I'm open to different genres as I like to expand my knowledge through reading, but fiction is defo my go to as reading is often my escape from reality! My favourite books are ones that make me feel deeply and actually evoke an emotional response. Hi! Avid reader of Fantasy, Science Fiction and History (appreciate last is probably not book club material unless you want to compare Beevor and Hastings for instance!). Would love to discuss some of the books and themes and get new recommendations. To give you an idea of themes, I have a lot of Neal Asher (who I love, great books) and Adrian Tchaikovsky (good, but sometimes frustrating) but my stand out is Malazan, the Book of the Fallen and all associated with it.
