Seeking a book club

Hello! I've never been part of a book club before but I need to start using my atrophying social graces. I like a little bit of everything and a lot of sci-fi/fantasy books. It would be wonderful to be able to discuss books with fellow enthusiasts!

Brilliantly written in a way that feels very digestible and shines a light on privilege, race and relationships.

I am a 34 yo male, with (unfortunately) very little time on my hands as full time carer and father to a disabled wife and 4x wonderful (but loud) children. I have experience with co running a DND world for an average of 20+ people every week or 2 (teams of 4-7) so not afraid to step up and DM from time to time. VERY into the role play aspect in the sense once the game begins I aim to think and talk like my character! While I have limited time in the past, I am hoping once my family has settled (just moved) I will have a little more time, especially if I can make connections for my wife and kids. Mainly posting for an idea of the current state of play as it were

I've always loved fantasy/sci-fi books and started playing D&D last year in NZ, and was halfway through Curse of Strahd when I moved my family to the UK for my work. Now I'm settled I am very keen to find a local group and get back into this.

I’m a huge fan of the supernatural, thanks to the wicked stories my Gran used to tell when I was little. I’m looking to join a casual club since I won’t be able to meet regularly. I enjoy meeting new people, and reading books that expand the mind. It always makes for a good time!
