I love a good read. My taste can be quite eclectic. I have read Eleanor Oliphant and have enjoyed a whole collection of books by John Boyne. I have recently discovered Paul Murray - A bee Sting. I would love to meet and discuss good books as well as getting some good recommendations. I also enjoy chatting !

I love reading and am looking to make some bookish friends. I read a lot of fantasy in my teenage years and transitioned into magical realism and standard fiction as an adult but will give anything a go!

Seeking a gaming group

Older (51!) player looking for a game near Selsey. Just gotten back into TTRPG and happy to play anything but have a preference for 5e style. Very laid back, happy to travel to surrounding areas or host. I find online too impersonal. Away in Europe for a bit but back mid July. Happy to play with any gender or persuasion.

Claire (Horsham)

Seeking a book club

I have always loved reading but have recently renewed my passion. I am a busy mum (to a teenager and toddlers!) in my late 30s. I love to use any free time I get to escape into a good book. I really enjoy a good psychological thriller. But my particular love is a thought provoking and emotional read (one of my favourites is A Little Life, Hanya Yanagihara). Would love recommendations and discussions.

Seeking a book club

I used to read a lot as a child but as I grew up β€˜life’ often meant that I was too busy or too tired to pick up a book. I’m now in my 40’s and have just worked through the hardest few years of my life. My escapism when everything felt too much - Reading! The light has been restored! and I now feel confident enough to try and share this love of books with other likeminded people. I love book browsing just as much as I love reading and I can often be found browsing bookshops, charity shops, Amazon, Goodreads, instagram … anywhere where I might come across a hidden jewel that I just have to add to my TBR list! Enjoy most genres although I tend to avoid fantasy as it’s not really my cup of tea. Saying that, there are always exceptions. ☺️
