I live in South London and enjoy reading Military books I.e autobiographies, true stories like The Operators, ww2, Vietnam etc. Military fiction, crime. My favourite authors include JD Kirk, Duncan Falconer, Billy Bellingham, Kerry Donovan. I have never been in a book club, so looking for a good friendly online book club.

It is an uncompromising look at his life and experiences in the SBS. For me it is the way he writes it, as I read it, I could see it like a pov film in my minds eye.

Humphrey (London)

Seeking a book club

Beckenham-based, liberal, francophile doctor, moulded by Steinbeck, Vonnegut and a large pinch of Pratchet, worked over by a career of scientific rationalism, spat out of the sausage machine of conformity, now running my stick along the railings of life, learning how to spit with my purple dressed wife, looking for literary buddies in Beckenham or Bromley to broaden my atrophied reading habit.

Dianaa (London)

Seeking a book club

Hi!. I’m an avid reader of fantasy, fiction, ya and thrillers. I really don’t mind any type of genre as long as the book is fast paced and interesting. Two of my favourite books are the poppy wars and a thousand splendid suns. I would like to join a book club where you meet every month and discuss the book.

It delves into that really shows the horrors of war and sheds light on many important topics such as racism, sa and sexism to name a few. I recommend looking up the tw before reading however it is a beautiful book with amazing world builders and incredibly complex characters.
