Kfelton (Ely)

Seeking a book club

Recently moved to the area and love reading. Looking to join a book club to meet new people and discuss literature. I am a fan of fantasy novels, but also read a lot of translated fiction from Japan and Korea.

It's an easy read that packs an emotional punch. The first in the series and will have you easily hooked. The encounters draw on stories we can also easily relate to and themes about loss, regret and love.

Matt (Cambridge)

Seeking a gaming group

I am a postdoc at the University of Cambridge, newish to DnD but have played a few campaigns, know the rules and eager to continue playing. My current group broke up due to life events (a breakup) that made it awkward for our dungeon master to continue. I have two other players of a similar experience who are also looking for a group, and could probably find more interested players in my department.

Hi, I love reading(somehow managed over 100 books last year!) and would love to find some bookish friends to chat to about recent reads! I read a bit of everything, from Fantasy(lots of Brandon Sanderson this year) to romance. I'm currently reading Babel

An epic fantasy that starts off the stormlight archive series. Kaladin's origin in the bridge crew is incredible and really hooked me in to the series.

Rob (Huntingdon)

Seeking a gaming group

I've been roleplaying since 1986, and I'm a Forever GM for Runequest, which I run fortnightly via VTT on Sundays. I'm looking for a local tabletop group, hopefully with a variety of games. Nearest town I could pick from the drop-down is Huntingdon, but I'm actually in St Neots and happy to travel. I have published a couple of things for RQ, and am currently writing my second scenario for Jonstown Compendium. It's Glorantha, so there are cows involved.

Alex S (Ely) (Ely)

Seeking a book club

Hiya, I’m Alex. I’d love to have a natter over coffee or wine with some bookish people in Ely. I love fantasy, sci-fi, romance, nf, you name it 🤗 (the only thing I can’t manage is horror!) I’m trying to reach a goal of 100 books this year and could do with some company/moral support!

Ethan (Cambridge)

Gaming group

I'm a 18-year-old currently working as a Teaching Assistant at a school in Cambridge. I've been playing D&D and generally been around the fantasy-genre since I was young, and I'm always looking to be playing and/or DMing games. Generally I try to be as accommodating as possible, trying to fit in any ideas you have for the game and any physical or mental conditions. :D I'm currently looking for players to join into a campaign that has only recently started that is too few players short; we play in a cafe in Cambridge every 1-2 weeks (in the middle of figuring details out and what works best for everyone).

Lucyslibrary (Wisbech)

Seeking a book club

Hi I’m Lucy, 27 from Wisbech. I’m an avid romance reader and love a good Romantasy or cowboy romance too! I dabble in thrillers and classics sometimes aswell. Bit of a mood reader tbh! Looking to find friends who share my love of reading in my local area who might be up for a book club? I love Booktok but the drawback is everyone lives so far away! 🤍🫶🏻
