Seeking a gaming group

Hey, returning player/DM with experience in 5e. Would love to join a table/group for weekly/fortnightly games. I prefer games with a healthy mix of role playing and combat with players with similar expectations and pro social attitudes (i.e DnD is a collaborative storytelling game, not adversarial and everyone gets their chance to be seen and heard!). I’m open to learning other systems but I am most familiar with 5e.

Seeking a book club

Hi I’m Adam. I am 27 and I have fallen in love with reading over the past year. An escape from reality with some good books as well as meeting some friends along the way is what I’m hoping for. I love mystery, romance and sci-fi books but open to anything.

adz recommends:

The Ferryman by Justin Cronin

This book is actually hard to describe but I’ll give it my best shot. Initially I read the first couple of chapters and was scratching my head at how the book had been put together, I put it down for a few weeks and decided to give it another go. Oh boy! I was hooked. The way it is written makes you constantly think about what is going on with twists and turns all through the book. A slow burner to begin with but one of the best books I’ve read.

Seeking a book club

I have always wanted to join a book club but never looked for one untill now. I will read almost anything but my favourite genres are fantasy and crime. I would prefer a book club that ran in the evening as I work full-time.

I like a mix of genres my go-to now is thriller, rom-com, mystery and historical fiction. I read regularly and often have a book in my hand at any spare moment. I would love to find like minded people who also love reading. Nothing better than discussing a book youve lost yourself in.

I love reading but during the last couple of years have been drawn into audio books. Miss a paper back and do thought a book club may encourage me to actually read more.
