I live part of the year in Robin Hood's Bay and part of the year in Sheffield. I read a lot, mainly contemporary fiction - I follow women's writing particularly and I like reading novels that challenge me as well as ones that are just entertaining! I'd love to join a book group in Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay or Scarborough.

I love reading but probably don’t do enough of it as I work full time, Mon to Fri. Ideally looking for a friendly and sociable group (not too serious) to join at lunchtime, weekends or a Saturday. I’m friendly, sociable and happy person.

Book club
The Whitby Crusaders, a new reading group for women between the ages of 53 and 80, will meet at 9 Abbey Terrace, Whitby, North Yorkshire, YO21 3HQ. The event is hosted by Michelle D James and is supported by the Library Service North Yorkshire County Council – Libraries.

Meets at The Georgian Theatre Royal on Run by Suzy Brown Library service The Reading Group at the Georgian Theatre meets every third Wednesday of the month except August and December at 1pm in the Bottom Bar and has free entry to all. We read a wide range of books which are chosen by members of the group and can be ordered from the Richmond Library on the Theatre's Reading Group Ticket. Join fellow book lovers to discuss a selected novel or play each month.
