I am retired and recently lost my husband so am in quite a lonely place at the moment. I love reading so think that joining a book club would be good for me to meet new people and discuss books we have all read

Book club
Meets at Torquay Library on Run by Paul Trainer Library service This is a Library based and facilitated group. All you need to bring to our meetings is a willingness to contribute to discussions. The library provides limited copies of each title on the reading list, which comprises both fiction and non-fiction, but you are welcome to purchase your own if you wish. The tone is friendly, informal and non-academic. We meet at: Lymington Road, Torquay, Torbay, TQ1 3DT Accepting new members

Book club
At our gathering, hosted by Caroline Perrin of Torbay Council Libraries, we currently have 11 people attending. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 PM, with each member choosing a book to read. Both fiction and non-fiction pieces are explored, so there are options for all tastes. We invite anyone to join us in our discussions and would love to meet new members.
