I'm a 41, female corporate girly who likes to lose myself in fantasy stories so that i can escape the day job. I enjoy dark humour and sarcasm. I'm looking to meet up with like minded people who enjoy reading, i generally read romantacy/dark fantasy, but occasionally a horror, sci fi or crime type book. I live in Stoke on Trent so ideally would like to join a book club locally.

My name is Jade, I am 37, vast approaching 38. I am really keen on joining a book club, to help motivate my reading again after having a sizeableprriod of time in a reading slump, to meet new friends and to branch out from my typical reading genre preferences. I am having trouble locating a book club that has any spaces available, coild anyone please recommend a group, provide contact info fod a potential group or maybe point me in the direction of where it is I need to be searching online, as opposed to my simply searching 'Stoke-on-Trent bookclubs', as this isn't getting me very far! I used to absolutely love reading, I would fly through books at a rate of knots, and it really was a great escape for my mind. I really would love to reignite my love for this hobby, once again! Help me book worms!! X

33/M/SoT. I have no experience in playing a physical game of DnD, but I understand most of the basics, and playing BG3 has helped massively. I am also enjoying the hobby side of Warhammer, but have never actually played a game, which I am eager change.

Ok gimme a sec... I've been browsing this site for a while and haven't found a book club in stoke specific to this genre. I might dabble in some of the other genres but Romantasy and Fantasy is my bread and butter. Completely new club for like minded guys and girls who share the same interests and might want to meet up and make new friends along the way! I'm Katie, 33 and mum of one. I've been in to reading forever but it dropped of for a while in my 20's. I picked it back up a few years ago and have been non stop since. I love kindle unlimited and really enjoy romantasy and general fantasy. My latest reads are Brimstone and Kissed by the Gods. I'm recently separated after a long relationship and find I'm quite lacking in the friend department. Would love to join a club and get to know some new like minded people!

Seeking a book club
I'm a mum of two (very energetic) young boys and work full time. I used to read a lot, but this dropped off once my family started to grow and life got busy! I started using Audible as a way to get some 'me' time while still getting my typical household jobs done, I want to get back into proper reading. I used to read a lot of thriller and horror style books, I like the odd classic, and recently picked up quite a few Romantacy style books (Quicksilver, When the moon hatched, ACOTAR) which I love. I really want to start carving out some me time, make friends with similar people who want to discuss good books
