Adam (Lichfield)

Seeking a gaming group

Hello! I have been playing DnD 5e for 2 or 3 years and I'm looking for an in person game / table in the Lichfield or surrounding areas. Happy to play 5.5 if you will forgive the odd error as I get to grips with the recent changes. Also able to DM occasionally as needed.

Penny Wheat (Stafford)

Seeking a book club

I am a public speaker and writer of non fiction. My latest book is Dead End and is described as 'Befriending the friendless. One woman's heart-warning encounters with murderers and sex offenders.' It is full of humour and anecdotes, despite the subject matter, and I would love to attend Sandon book club and share it with the membership.

Violet (Stoke-on-Trent)

Seeking a gaming group

18F no experience with DnD :( I’ve always wanted to get into it, but I was always too afraid to ask anyone how to play, or get into it. I’m interested in learning how and making friends to play it. I’ll gladly add anyone interested on discord to talk and educate me so we can play together!!

I’m male 56 years old. I used to play AD&D 2nd edition years ago in my early 20’s. I have not played since but still have all the books and dice and want to get back into it. I used to DM a dark sun campaign but have also played in Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance campaigns.

Caroline (Stoke-on-Trent)

Seeking a book club

Mum of 8. Home-educator (last one is almost 16 and home for one more year). Pastor's wife (and church admin). Past life was a midwife and now qualified antenatal practitioner (with NCT). I'm a person who truly loves books, but who seriously to read them without falling asleep! My family moved to SOT about a year ago and previously we were part of a home-ed book club that we both really enjoyed. I'd like (us) to find a new one! If we can't find anything suitable would anyone be interested in joining me and my teenager in Longton/Dresden? I have a comfy cafe space at our church that we could use (and we have a car-park!)... We would choose to avoid horror, magic & mysticism in the books we read, but most other genres are 👍🏻. Share your email if you're interested - especially if you have/are teen or young adult because my son would be glad to meet some more young people this age... Ps - we are not avid book nerds, but we do love the social chit chat of a book club!

Great for all ages. Some interesting themes around control, power and human connection.

Emma (Stoke-on-Trent)

Seeking a book club

I am looking to find others who enjoy reading and like to just discuss their thoughts on the material. I enjoy all genres but particularly like fantasy, classics, and mystery. Would love to join any clubs in any format, and welcome any chat about books.

The focus on gender role expectations and modern gender inequality is expertly weaved into a crime fiction setting that consistently surprises and fascinates. Essentially its a fun ride with a social commentary.

Ben (Stafford)

Gaming group

Looking to start a DnD group running 5e. I'm a new DM and this would be the first campaign I have ran for people other than close friends. Campaign style will lean more to the RP side of things. Very welcome to new players as I will be learning as we go along too! Looking for ages 24+ If you're interested let me know! :)

Lewis (Burton-on-Trent)

Seeking a gaming group

I'm 30 very experienced with DnD 5e and am setting up a home campaign in Swadlincote and looking for one more player. I work on rule of cool, enjoy open sandbox style, high fantasy, home brew worlds, with a sprinkle of horror and hard-hitting combat. I have 3 other players in this game who are 26M, 29M and 30F, and we'll be hosting the game at one of my players houses, so a Discord call or meet up before the first session is a must to check vibes.
