Hi. Im a 37 year old man who's recently been quite interested in joining a dnd game. I have read extensively about rules and character builds, so am hopefully not too new to be annoying at the table. That said I have never played a game before, so would probably need a bit of time to acclimat. I would like to join a game that is less heavy on the overt roleplaying, such as acting out scenes and building deep character interplay, and more focused on game mechanics and problem solving. Again, that said I'm nit against any roleplay at all, I just don't I as my main focus in a game.

I'm a mid-40s male who's been playing (mainly DMing) D&D for about 15 years and Call of Cthulhu for a similar amount of time. I've also played campaigns in FATE, Blades in the Dark and various other systems. I'd love to play in or run a game with a bit more of a storytelling vibe, like The Between, Slugblaster, Stonetop or similar, but tbh I just like playing RPG's so would be happy to play just about anything with the right group.
