I've missed reading over the years, and social media filled the gap, so started 2025 , to get back to it, something about reading that exercises the mind, on my 3rd book this year, feeling my mind is having great mental work out, after all the years of effortlessly scrolling, years back would have been more fiction reader, recently autobiographical and psychology, books, but welling to expand my knowledge.

Portaferry reading group
Book club
Meets at Portaferry library on Run by Carol Clark Library service The reading group meets at Portaferry library monthly. It has run for around 5 years and there are around 12 members. Members suggest books to read and we also use the library list. We keep a record of what we have read and each member scores the books out of 10.
