Seeking a book club

Looking to meet some like-minded people and make some friends. Quite an eclectic reader, from modern literary fiction to sci-fi, fantasy and classics. Would like to join or start a book club.

Adam recommends:

The Once and Future King by T.H. White
The Once and Future King
by T.H. White | Learn more and buy
Starts as very much a childrens/YA book but becomes an exploration of chivalric love, pre- and post-war politics, fascism and more.
Infinite Jest
by David Foster Wallace | Learn more and buy
Hard work, but rewards persistence when it all starts to unfold. Put aside a couple of months, and possibly a notebook and pen, to work through it.

I love romance, murder mystery, psychological thrillers and I dabble a little in romantasy. I love all things cozy and Halloween! I would love to join a book club and meet new people!

Iaia

Seeking a book club

Hi! I’m 37, originally from Italy, and I live in Red Lodge with my husband, Davide. I’d love to get back into reading more, as I have to admit I haven’t read nearly as much as I’d like in recent years! I also thought joining a book club would be a lovely way to meet new people, make new friends and feel a bit more connected to the local community. I’m looking forward to discovering new books, having good conversations and hopefully meeting some lovely people along the way.

Seeking a book club

Hello, my name is Ellie I am 21 and I am from Suffolk in a town called Mildenhall and I have just started reading again! I have just finished the Thursday Murder Club Series and absolutely loved it! I'm now onto Freida McFadden's books! I'm into crime/mystery/thriller type books but always open to try a new genre.

The book is great for many reasons! How it is written in small chapters is good for someone who struggles to finish long chapters. How there is diary entries from one character called 'Joyce'. Finally, how even when you think you know who did it, I assure you it wasn't them!

Lynn

Seeking a book club

Hi, I’m an avid non-fiction, drama, romance, crime, thriller and Shakespeare fan (sorry, it’s the English teacher in me). I also love modern day dystopian, socio political and tragedy literature. Would love to join an upbeat book club that shares bookish insights but also lends itself to making new and meaningful connections.
