Favourite authors include (science fiction) Stephen Donaldson (The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant) and (religious fiction) from Susan Howatch (Starbridge series) and Tom Sharpe for a bit of satire.

Looking at early retirement soon and will finally have time to get stuck into reading which has been difficult to do over the years due to work. Would be great to join a local ish group and meet up for coffee and a chat. I like crime thrillers but will read anything really.

Hi, I'm 30 and new to the area and definitely need some more motivation to raise my book count! Would love to meet some new people to talk about our favourite books and to discover new stories to read! Typically I love a good ghost story, classic, or thriller but I'm open to reading just about anything 😊 (also happy to travel)!
