Greenhithe Book Club
Book club
GBC is a small gathering of friendly members from Greenhithe and the surrounding areas, who come together once a month to discuss books, share stories, and enjoy snacks and drinks. We are not a traditional high-brow literary discussion group, however, we always make sure to have chocolate and Pringles on hand to enjoy. On special occasions, we also have cake! Recently, we've discussed books such as The Postmistress by Sarah Blake, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis, The Husband by Dean Koontz, One Good Turn by Kate Atkinson and The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson. Outside of our monthly meetings, we also get together for dinners, drinks, pub quizzes and our annual Christmas do. To learn more and to join us in our book discussion, you can check out our website, drop us an email, or reach out to us on twitter! We're accepting new members at our meeting location in Greenhithe, Kent (DA9).
