Wimbledon Book Club
Book club
The Wimbledon Book Club holds meetings in Merton, South London, on the first and third Mondays of every month. Led by Gerard Earley, they are an inclusive and independent literary group, open to people of any gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, class, or political belief. Rather than typical selections like "The Help" or "The Da Vinci Code," the Wimbledon Book Club opt for various imaginative works such as contemporary fiction, classic literature, pulp fiction, crime fiction, current affairs, and science fiction. Though curiously, they donβt read chicklit! Their book selections are always based on what is interesting and engaging to read, and stimulating to discuss, and are never influenced by commercial influences. The Wimbledon Book Club is now accepting new members - check out their website for more information and get ready for a good night of reading and conversations!
