Amanda
Seeking a book club
Iโm a reader who loves literary non fiction, historical novels, and the occasional speculative short story. Iโm drawn to books that linger rich characters, and ideas that spark conversation. Iโm joining this group to share perspectives, discover authors I wouldnโt find on my own, and take part in thoughtful, warm discussions where listening matters as much as arguing a point. I am looking for a book club where people meet in person and share different perspective and knowledge

Seeking a book club
To me reading books is becoming a niche and I donโt want that to be the case. I have been reducing my screen time and been getting back on the books and journaling again. As I have grown older, my choices in books have adapted and become personal to who I am and what I want to be and I believe that everyone has a story to tell based on the books that they read so I want to get know others.

Vivien
Seeking a book club
My name is Vivien, I've lived in London for 12 years and I always wanted to join a book club but somehow never got around to it... I grew up reading a lot and I have recently found myself getting back into it again thankfully. I have quite a stressful job and reading is a way to escape for me. I am pretty much open to any suggestions and I also have my own. ๐

SW London Book Club
Book club
๐โจ Calling All Book Lovers in SW London! โจ๐ I've been wanting to start a local book club for a while, and it's finally happening! We're looking for fellow book lovers in SW London who'd like to get together once every couple of months to chat about a chosen book, discover new reads, and, most importantly, enjoy plenty of bookish conversations (my favourite part!). We'll be reading a mix of fiction and non-fiction, with all genres welcome, so whether you love fantasy, thrillers, romance, literary fiction, memoirs, history or anything else, there's a place for you. If you'd like to join us, just send me a message with: ๐ A little about yourself ๐ The kinds of books you enjoy reading ๐ญ One book you'd love us to read as a group The hope is to create a friendly, relaxed space where we can meet new people, share recommendations, and enjoy our shared love of books over a coffee (and maybe a slice of cake too! โ๐๐ฐ). If this sounds like your kind of thing, I'd love to hear from you. And if you know someone who'd enjoy it, please do share this post with them! Can't wait to meet some fellow bookworms! ๐ค

kristian like book
Seeking a book club
Hi all, my name is Kristian. Iโm in my early 20s and have recently moved back to London. I have been trying to get back into a reading practice, and hopefully make some friends along the way. For fiction, I like to read classics with a philosophical skew, but I am quite happy to read pretty much anything interesting that broadens my perspective of the world. For non-fiction books, I am again pretty open. I have tended to read mostly on economics, politics, philosophy, sociology, social critique, psychoanalysis / psychology. Iโm much less keen on self-help books. Iโm looking to meet around once a month. Contact me if our interests align!

Giulia
Seeking a book club
Hi everyone! I'm looking to join a book club to make friends and to push myself to read more. I grew up an avid reader but in the age of technology and social media and having a desk job I lost my reading sparkle. I read all kinds of books but I gravitate towards the classics, thrillers, mistery, true crime, sci-fi if it's not the boring or spicy kind that read like fanfic. I just got a brand new bookcase so please help me fill it!

Umamibooks
Seeking a book club
Hi, I am 34, South Asian from East London. I love reading all kinds esp. thrillers, mystery, detective stories, fantasy, sci-fi, women's literature and occasionally rom-coms. Currently alternating between thrillers/mystery (in an Agatha Christie chokehold atm) and books similar to Beth O Leary's Flatshare. Full confessionโI don't like Sarah J Maas's style of Romantasy books. I would love to meet up with fellow bookworms and dissect a book for hours over a non-alcoholic beverage of choice. Frequency is very variable but once or twice month to begin with would be ideal.
