The movies i like are Mystery, Fantasy, Investigations. Biography. I don't know how often i want to meet up. Would be nice to get to know people and make friends. I'm trying to expand my horizons and discover new books. I'm trying to find a way forward in my retirement. x

To enjoy reading different and new books, and sharing the experience with other readers. Nothing beats a good book and to be with others who enjoy reading and open to good conversation is of interest to me. I moved to Wales six years ago and it is only now that I have more time on my hands to pursue thing I love doing as all the house and garden projects are completed.

Just moved from Cheshire to near Llandysul. Newly retired this year. Now have more time to read . Belonged to a club in Cheshire and felt the club was very social and introduced me to authors I might not have discovered otherwise

Seeking a book club
Hello. I moved here three years ago but had to concentrate on life in England until very recently. I would love to meet people and chat about books. In addition to reading I enjoy a broad variety of music, love seeing musicians live, I have many hobbies interests, enjoy creativity, walking, have two lovely whippets,( their mother recently died so in my heart I still have three lovely whippets), I love going to the cinema and theatre. I have tended to read factual books for work or study but had to branch out into fiction when I did a few writing courses. Oh and I enjoy writing prose and poetry when inspired. I enjoy cooking, eating always thought I'd grow out of eating chocolate peanuts but never have. ps would love to start a book club meeting at my house preferably once a month.
