Gaming group
Looking to get a list of groups looking for space to use in West Lothian. I am a volunteer at the West Calder Community Hub and we are freeing up space own a Sunday (to begin with) to allow groups to come a play anything from Board Games, DND or Jigsaws. A place to trade, play and build a community. We have a little tuck shop but food can be ordered direct to the centre. There are multiple rooms in the centre for use and within those lots of tables. There are also screens for rent for groups to use as well. I would love some feedback from you guys on here as to your interest, but also what times to be open. It will be volunteers that run the shop and allow the building to be open to let people in and out, so timings are vital to arrange the support! Let me know!

I’m a longtime DM / GM who has been running games since the earliest versions of D&D and completed several 20th level campaigns in 5e including both published modules and new adventures. I believe in the power of earnest roleplaying: combat and exploration are a big part of my games, but roleplaying brings them alive. These days I mostly run games using my own system, which tells similar heroic adventure stories to D&D but with faster combat and more character customisation. I think it’s fun! And I’m hoping to find some players willing to give it a try.

Hi, I'm Steffi. I'm 31 years old. I used to be a very avid reader when I was younger but now feel like life has gotten in the way a little bit. I have tried picking books up again and currently enjoy reading fiction especially thrillers, dystopian, and a good romance novel here and there. I'm very open to trying new genres and would ideally like to meet up once a month or so.

I played D&D 4th edition a few years ago. First time I ever played an RPG and I loved it. No preference as such to edition played or setting? Open for anything from fantasy to sci fi. Love stories. Love characters. Love to explore worlds beyond and above all, to be part of a team. Really keen to get back in action with it. I’m friendly, sociable and enjoy company. I turned 40 last year and understand younger players may not want me at the table l, which I completely understand Perhaps looking for a slightly more mature (can’t believe I’m applying THAT word to me now, when did that happen?) crowd but I’m really adaptable and just love to play with anyone.

New player looking for a D&D group for an in-person adventure. Only played a one-shot once before but the group never stayed in touch. In my 30's so, late bloomer due to lack of social life and simply not in the right circles to be a part of the community when I was younger. Due to work, my availability is strict so weekly meet-ups may be difficult but workarounds can be arranged if possible.

I have never actually played a TTRPG before but I know a bit about D&D. I'm not sure what games I'd enjoy but I'd definitely want to give D&D (preferably 5th edition but any other than 4th is fine) or Pathfinder a try and I'm open to other suggestions too.
