Hi, I'm 31m I'm looking to join as a new player in the world of D&D, I know the basics to play the game and a pretty decent amount of rules. I've only ever played D&D and would love to join a group of people for long term! I would love to make some awesome friends and meet new people who also love the same hobby! Thank you for taking the time to read or message me!

book wrapt

Book club

book wrapt isn't like any book club you've probably tried before - or talked yourself out of trying. There's no set book. No homework. No sitting in a circle feeling like you didn't do the reading. It's three genuinely brilliant women - Liz, Vicky and Larrinae - who got tired of waiting for someone to create the kind of literary experience they actually wanted, so they built it themselves. What they've made is something that feels more like a really good night out with people who love books than anything stuffy or academic. Think cosy venues, great food, proper wine, and the kind of conversation that goes on longer than it should and leaves you with a reading list three times longer than when you arrived. The monthly book club - Chapters at The Charter - is just £2 and runs on the first Wednesday of every month at The Charter Inn in Rothwell. You bring whatever you're reading, whatever you've loved, whatever you abandoned halfway through and couldn't finish. You swap recommendations, find new authors, and leave feeling genuinely connected to people who get it. Then there are the bigger events - a summer BBQ with a bestselling author in a beautiful Northamptonshire setting, a Christmas Jólabókaflód celebration, intimate literary afternoons. Each one is thoughtfully put together, properly fed and watered, and feels like something worth getting dressed up for. If you've ever finished a book and desperately wanted someone to talk to about it - this is your people.

I’m 21 and am just getting back into reading for fun (I studied English Lit at university so never really had time to read books I chose instead of studied). I’m looking to expand my taste so any recommendations are always welcome!

I have played a couple of DnD games so I know the core mechanics but I still consider myself a newbie. I am keen to join a local game in the Northamptonshire area. I'm easygoing and I will make sure my diary is clear to attend pre-arranged sessions.

Used to do a little bit of dnd, however I was normally the one pulling people together and being the dm. Want to get back into it and try being a player this time. There is a geek retreat in Kettering which seems like a good place to play. I don’t use Facebook

Hi! Looking for other bookworms to make friends with. I like most genres but I’m enjoying fantasy and dark romance at the moment. I love listening to audio books and normally read a book from my shelf and another on my kindle at the same time.
