Seeking a book club

I've recently moved to Brontë Country and would love to meet others with similar interests. Perhaps there's a community here, book club or whatever...I'm in midlife (age is a mere number) with a teenage son looking to connect with like minds because I don't know anyone over the age of 30 who likes what I like! I'm a big reader of romantasy books (currently getting through a Maasverse marathon iykyk) but have previously read a lot of chicklit and Freida McFadden and Colleen Hoover books. I'm also creative, I practice intuitive painting and I'm an artisan jeweller.

I am a booksellers daughter and former researcher who struggles to read without associating it with work! I want to be inspired to read more, and for pleasure. I also fancy dedicating more time to creative activities. 😊

Seeking a book club

I’ve recently moved to Hebden Bridge and while I love reading I find it difficult to find the time with a busy job & a small child. I’d like to join a book club to give myself some external motivation to read and to meet new people in my new local area

Seeking a book club

Hello, I am a 48 year old lady living in Hebden Bridge. I used to read a couple of books a week until this last year when some traumatic experiences resulted in me not been able to pick up a book. I think I need a book club to force me back into enjoying reading and the social side would also be great for me too. Thanks LK
