Harmony in the Hills

Harmony in the Hills is a community choir based in Church Stretton, rehearsing on Thursday evenings throughout the year from 7.30 to 9 pm. It sings a varied mix of harmony pieces, including music from different cultures, early music, popular songs and specially arranged works, and also performs at local events. New singers are welcome, from experienced musicians to complete beginners, and discounts are available for family groups singing together.

Breathing Space is a singing group in Church Stretton with two weekly Wednesday afternoon sessions. One is dementia-friendly and focuses on the enjoyment of singing for clients, carers and local carer-cared for couples, while the other offers support for self-esteem and mindfulness alongside health needs such as anxiety, chronic pain and Long Covid. Both groups include breathing work, familiar and new songs, improvisation and song writing.
