Seeking a book club
Hi, I’m Cat, I’m 24 and I’ve recently moved to the Alnwick area. I absolutely love reading, particularly romance, thrillers and horror, and I’m hoping to find a local book club where I can meet new people, discover some new books and have a good chat about what everyone’s been reading. I’d love to join a friendly group and get involved!

New to the area I’d like to join an afternoon book club in Amble, Warkworth, Alnmouth or Anwick. I’m open minded on genre. Has anyone heard of one?

Seeking a book club
I'm in my 60's, I used to be in a monthly book club before moving here and I'd like to join one again. Rather than big books on very serious themes, I like contemporary fiction (but am open to trying out new fields, and non-fiction). Recently I've enjoyed Jane Harper's novels (The Dry etc); also Martin Cruz Smith's novels set in Russia, and Mick Herron (Slow Horses). A bit of a soft spot for Ursula Le Guin too. But I'd like to be introduced to other genres and authors. It would be good to meet in eachother's houses, or in Barter Books if they still offer that.
