Lorraine (Chippenham)

Seeking a book club

I love reading and listening to audible books. I especially like Scottish Crime and love Angus King. I have recently enjoyed The Seven Sisters series and really like the history and culture. I am also keen on a comedy book like Why Mummy Drinks. I am single and my aim is to social more and love life and do everything possible to improve my wellbeing. I go to a gym/healthclub near Calne and work in Devizes, so any bookclubs in these areas are also of interest to me.

Lorraine recommends:

Love the characters in the book as they are a very vivid mix. The story is always gripping and the occasional humour keeps the emotions varied.

carol (Salisbury)

Seeking a book club

I am a crime writer. I write the DI MacLean series (look me up on Amazon) Carol Cole - Murder in the New Forest and Straw in the Wind, both of which are set in the New Forest. If you are heading down the route of guest readers at any time, I am very happy to join you for a reading followed by Q&A's. Good luck with your group. I think it is a great idea and I hope you have lots of people take you up on it. Best carol cole

Wiltshire girls (Swindon)

Book club

Looking to make a book club for a group of girls in their 20s who love to read! We’ll meet up monthly to discuss a chosen book. I like all kinds of genres- thriller, romance, crime. We’ll keep it interesting! We’ll probably read mainly fictional books that are targeted towards women. Definitely open to other suggestions tho! Happy to find a location where we can all meet in the middle. Get in touch if you’re a girl in your 20s and would like to join! X
