A heartfelt and funny time travel story with wonderful characters, it can be dark at times but the overall message is one of hope. Twists come thick and fast, even the ones you see coming will surprise you with how they happen, and the whole thing is wrapped up in a neat little Bootstrap Paradox.

The book is great for many reasons! How it is written in small chapters is good for someone who struggles to finish long chapters. How there is diary entries from one character called 'Joyce'. Finally, how even when you think you know who did it, I assure you it wasn't them!

Louisa (Stowmarket)

Seeking a book club

Hi, I’m Louisa – I’m 36 and work in marketing, which keeps me busy, but I always try to make time for a good book. I’m mostly into fiction and fantasy at the moment, but I’ve enjoyed everything from thrillers to autobiographies too. I’m looking to join a laid-back book club with people who enjoy chatting about what they’ve read over a drink or a casual catch-up. Nothing too serious – just good books and good company!

I'm reading this book at the moment - I will finish it tonight - and it's exceptional. A deep, disturbing look at the life of a priest in Ireland that is also tender and loving. It addresses some difficult issues and stirs a whole range of emotions. A well researched and beautifully written piece of work that I will be sad to leave behind.
