Brooke (Ipswich)

Seeking a book club

Hello, I have a superb book for book club readers.....its on Amazon 9798254021070 It is my very true story, of becoming embroiled with a psychopath when I was a psychology student, which led to 8 years of my endeavours to fix him, thereby having the perfect man. We travelled over seas to exotic islands on his boat, purchased by a wealthy widow woman.....the story is very gripping, and carries messages for women on how you can ovetcome abuse, and other psychotic behaviours, and even survive strangulation at sea.....it makes a really good discussion, lots of gritty and questions about 'why did she stay' I don't think any reader would be disappointed. George (Ipswich)

Seeking a book club

Hi, I am 27 and always happy to chat about books! I already attend a book club in Colchester but I am open to join more or even chat with other book-lovers over coffee. I live in the Colchester/Ipswich area. I like fantasy, thriller and occasionally historical non-fiction but could likely be persuaded to read from any genre.

Fantastic worldbuilding & always great to read fantasy that isn't afraid to move away from the common tropes of the genre!

Seeking a gaming group

29F Complete Newbie to playing any TTRPG, have played BG3 and watched a lot of Dimension 20, Tablestory and Critical role. Most interestied in D&D. I definitely feel more confident with some classes than others but am excited to learn. Looking to start as a player but hope to do some dm-ing one day.

Miki (Ipswich)

I’m a player in my 30s who recently caught the D&D bug. I might be newer to the hobby, but I’ve fallen fast for the storytelling and the mechanics. I’m at that sweet spot where I’m still discovering the magic of the game but have a solid handle on how to work with a team. I’m definitely a Warlock main at heart. There’s just something about the flavor of making a pact for power—and the versatility of the class—that keeps me hooked. Whether I’m playing a face-of-the-party charismatic lead or a utility caster from the shadows, I love finding creative ways to use my limited spell slots. I’m looking for a game that balances engaging roleplay with tactical combat. Since I started recently, I value a group that’s welcoming and enjoys a mix of serious storytelling and those inevitable "how did we survive that?" moments.
