The Oswestry Ramblers organise a varied programme of walks, usually twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. Walks range from easy, leisurely outings of 4 to 7 miles on Thursdays to longer Sunday walks of up to 10 miles, with routes around Oswestry and further afield in Shropshire, north and mid Wales, Cheshire and sometimes the coast. New adult members of any age are welcome and may join as a guest on three walks before deciding whether to join.

There is also a walk on the first Saturday of each month, plus short Wednesday evening walks in June and July, usually to or from a pub.
