I have recently moved to Ludlow. I am an56 year old man and work full time in social services. I have an English degree and have always loved reading for pleasure. I have eclectic tastes and like Colm Toibin, F Scott Fitzgerald, Thomas Hardy, Jonathan Coe and Alexei Sayle.

Thatcher ate my trousers
by Alexei Sayle | Learn more and buy
Sayle’s 2nd volume of autobiography is extremely funny and charts the rise of his career in the 70s and 80s alongside the emergence of alternative comedy. Fascinating and a good laugh.

Firstly, I must add I'm not into the religious aspects of the book.. But past that, it's a great adventure, you get lost in the environment and get a real sense of how its portrayed. It's really up to the reader on what you think they are searching for. It's a great book for a discussion.
