Seeking a book club

I’m 29 and despite hardly putting books down through my teenage years have only really started reading again properly in the last few years. Just looking for a friend who also shares the book passion and understands how hard it can be to put down a new book. Currently gearing myself self up with romantasy books to bite the bullet and start ACOTAR

It’s just always one I think about when asked my favourite book. I thoroughly believe it’s something that anyone who loves a fantasy should read.

Billie C (Rushden)

Seeking a book club

I have always enjoyed reading good books. I have more time on my hands now and have always wanted to be part of a book club. My husband doesn't read so this is not something I can share with him. I am open to reading any books well written and would really enjoy meeting new people and discussing the books I have read and receiving and giving recommendations, for all those fantastic stories out there.

We are looking to open a new branch of RP Haven - a TTRPG club and charity - in the Wellingborough/Northamptonshire area! At RP Haven we run weekly dedicated tables for games like D&D, Pathfinder, CyberPunk or whatever you want to run, so you can play and raise money for charity in the process. Right now we are just gauging interest so we know the size of venue etc. So if you want to ensure we get a branch open in your area please sign-up to our mailing list below and share with your friends! Hello! Since June last year I have become a serious book worm. Prior to that, the last book I read was when I was 17 ( I am now 33!). I'm looking to get to know other people that share the same passion for books as I do :-)

I’m a 22 yr old part time uni student that loves reading. I am really into fantasy and sci-fi but I don’t mind trying of genres. I did start by reading manwha/manhua/manga of which I’ve read too many to count. And I’ve also read approx 45 different web/light novel series. Currently reading the “Left hand of God“ series.

24, my dream is to be a writer. Here are my favourite books (do they match with anyone else’s?) - Folk by Zoe Gilbert - Fatherland by Robert Harris - Picnic at Hanging Rock by Joan Lindsay - Atonement by Ian McEwan - The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield - The Shipping News by Annie Proulx - Anne of Green Gables by L.M Montgomery - The Accident Season by Moïra Fowley-Doyle - Northern Lights by Philip Pullman

Set during the English civil war, about a servant girl who has an inherited ability to carry the live, conscious souls of other humans (and large, angry animals) inside her mind. One of the most original super powers I’ve ever read, and a genuinely intriguing story. I was sucked in from the first page.
