Tom (Hull)

Seeking a book club

I am fairly vivacious, and very expressive, with lots of fervent feelings to literature and art, and am always riddled with alacrity to discuss art. I have most of my ardent feelings towards fiction, mainly complex, multi-layered fiction. I do like poetry and would love to find more a footing within that realm. I do write but I would like to discuss literature, poetry and even thy/my own personal writing.

Tigress (Hull)

Seeking a book club

I Enjoy reading thrillers, crime, detective novels, occasionally family sagas etc. I choose an author to try out and often read every book they've written. I feel quite isolated as I am main carer for my disabled son, reading is my outlet, but would like to socialize more and meet new people, in such a way that it is totally removed from my everyday life of caring

Tigress recommends:

The Secret by Lee Child

To me this book is a definite page turner, fast paced, a joy to read, I can't gobble the words up quickly enough. Main character is a modern day hero who tends to flout the rules of normal society
