A fun billionaire romance that i have re read because it was soo good

Stoner is a cult classic for good reason. It is a novel about failure and becoming and the nature of our lives as being an unguessable mixture of small mundanities and moments of grand ecstatic beauty. The narrative follows the majority of the titular William Stoner's life as he becomes (spoilers but not really) a professor of literature at the University of Missouri in the early 20th century. It explores love and failed love, for other people, for the world, for the passions that ignite our hearts, and strikes to the core of the human experience as this confusing unpredictable journey through a world we can never understand except in hindsight. Seriously powerful book, can't recommend enough.

Agatha always gets the best of me but this book in particular caught me completely off guard! It keeps you guessing the whole way through, gives a new perspective to the series and is wonderful to read again
