Seeking a gaming group

Male 26 Minor oast experience but mainly home brew games. Had a group but external life factors make it a very rare occasion to play. Looking for a chill not too serious group. I like to test the DM but not in a negative or in anyway which would make anybody uncomfortable.

Feather (Tywyn)

Seeking a gaming group

Hello! I'm Feather (at least online), I'm 24, neurodivergent and self-proclaimed nerd. I love Dnd, especially homebrew and want to create my own campaign someday. I have minimal experience playing official campaigns but would definitely be open to it. I'm a writer that's yet to finish any big projects and an animal lover. Desperately looking for some local nerdy friends.

Ang35 (Bangor (Gwynedd))

Seeking a book club

Very few things can beat a good book! I’m not genre-oriented and enjoy a bit of everything, though I especially like mysteries and novels involving clues or puzzles. Dan Brown was my favourite writer for a long time. I’m hoping to meet new local friends to enjoy a coffee and chat about books. I’m always keen to hear new recommendations and discover new reads. Happy to meet in a coffee shop or go for a walk in the area while talking books! I’m based near Bangor and happy to travel locally for meetups or clubs (up to Holyhead or Llandudno). Always open to making new friends too.

Ang35 recommends:

The Da Vinci Code
by D. Brown | Learn more and buy
I’m sure most people have already read this book, but I still can’t stop recommending it. The vivid imagery and detailed descriptions of France are what make this book so unique.
Inferno
by D. Brown | Learn more and buy
If you love a thrilling mix of art, music, architecture, and ancient history, this is the book for you. It paints a vivid picture of Rome in incredible detail, with fascinating insight into Vatican City. All of it is perfectly woven into an intriguing and fast-paced story.
The secret Midwife
by K. Weitz | Learn more and buy
Following the life of a young woman who chooses to help other women through one of the most special moments of their lives, this book is both emotional and eye-opening. It shows how what you learn from university books is not always the reality. The joy, the happiness, the struggles, the anxiety, and the fear are all portrayed in such a raw and honest way that it makes you see everything from a completely different perspective. What a book, and such an easy read!
All against all
by N.Allen | Learn more and buy
If you enjoyed watching Squid Game on Netflix, you’ll love this book. All it took was an invitation and a huge amount of money to begin a deadly series of murders

Bangor Book club (Bangor (Gwynedd))

Book club

I couldn’t find a book group around Bangor or Caernarfon, so I thought I’d create one myself and bring book lovers together! The idea is to suggest and discuss new books while enjoying a chat over tea or coffee. No meetings have been held yet, but if there’s enough interest, we can organise our first meetup soon. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re an occasional reader or a total bookworm. 🙂

Lorraine (Pwllheli)

Seeking a book club

Although from the area originally I have lived away and moved back. I used to be part of a book club on the Wirral that I loved but since moving back I have fallen out of reading. I would like to meet people that can encourage each other in their reading and through that potentially make some new friends. I also like to write so being part of a reading and writing friend group would be lovely!

MeleeMel (Bangor (Gwynedd))

Seeking a gaming group

I've gotten really into tabletop role play in the kast two years, and I'm mostly looking for a welcoming community that wants to play locally as much as I do. I've played some campaigns, briefly DM one that ended, and am trying to gather more in person experience, as well as hopefully making friends on the way. I'll also be spending the coming summer entirely in Anglesey, and was hoping to find a group to pass the time and have fun inside instead of tanning😊
